More Than Just Coaching: A Holistic Approach

Our coaches are more than just neurodivergent; they are trusted guides who understand the unique strengths and challenges of neurodivergent clients. They work closely with each individual:

  • Promote Wellbeing: Coaches are attuned to the emotional needs of clients and provide guidance on emotional regulation, stress management, and overall wellbeing.

  • Foster a Positive Empowerment Identity: We help clients recognize and celebrate their unique talents, building confidence and self-esteem.

  • Develop Self-Advocacy Skills: We empower clients to understand their needs and communicate them effectively, promoting independence and agency.

  • Provide Individualized Support: Coaches tailor their approach to each clients specific empowerment style, strengths, and challenges.

  • Build Strong Relationships: We prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and trusting relationship between mentors and clients.

What to Expect

  • Regular 1:1 Meetings: Clients will have regular opportunities to connect with their coaches for personalized support and guidance, tuning into the body to see what it needs most on that specific day through muscle testing.

  • Personalized Empowerment Plans: Coaches work with clients to develop individualized empowerment plans that align with their goals and needs.

  • Ongoing Progress Monitoring: Coaches track progress and provide regular feedback to clients and families, if authorized.

  • Collaboration with Families: We believe in working closely with families to ensure a consistent and supportive approach for each learner.

  • A Supportive Community: Coaches also facilitate connections within our online community, fostering peer support and a sense of belonging.

Empowering Through Knowledge: The Foundation of Backward Masking

At the Cerebella, education is a key component of healing from years of masking. We educate clients about the effects masking, the connection between the brain and nervous system, neurotransmitter dysregulation, and helping them understand its impact on the brain, clarity of thinking behavior and empowering them to break free from its grip, and then go into an authentic life.

Transactional Analysis helps clients understand their communication patterns and relationships. Trauma education equips them with tools to process past experiences and heal. We focus on anger management and somatic breathwork to develop healthier emotional responses and teach effective boundary-setting for better relationships. Addressing codependency and people pleasing provides insights into creating healthier connections and fostering independence in recovery.

The Antidote to High Functioning is Connection

At The Cerebella we believe that connection is crucial to quality of life.  Autism can be an isolating diagnosis, and we believe forging a community and support early in the process will help clients persist through the potential pitfalls of healing.

What you will find at The Cerebella is a small, boutique program that is incredibly invested in you, or your loved one, thriving in life. Our cohort size, the clients attending groups together, is typically between 10 and 15 clients. We do this with a coaching team of approximately 8  coaches, which means each client gets the time and attention they deserve. We invest in our staff to provide the highest quality of care that we can. In the end, this is what will truly impact the clients’ long-term healing.
